This is amazing!!! I like eating and making this oatmeal.
Fill a container with a lid half full of dry oatmeal (it doesn't matter if it's quickoats or the steel cut or anything on between) add any extras that you want on top: dried fruit, nuts, brown sugar, any toppings you like, don't forget the salt!
when you are satisfied with your toppings add water to the top of the container. Add the lid and shake. Shaking is important because the oatmeal will not separate and you'll have dry spots. Leave sitting about 10 - 15 minutes. Long enough for the water to soak in.
But in a bowl or eat right out of the jar! Don't forget to add your milk :)
Originally this recipe said to use a canning jar but I really like using my blender bottle. I don't put the wisk ball in though!
